Camera Freezing

When I use the stock camera it freezes as it appears to be focusing and trying to recognize what it's looking at. It's rather frustrating because it will freeze for several seconds - which can mean missing a cut picture if my kiddos or whatnot. After it freezes a small icon pops up with a head, a letter, or food - could be more, but that's what I've seen. So, I think the camera is trying to figure out what it's focused on in order to take the best pic? Is this a setting I can turn off to keep it from freezing?

I'm having the same issue. I turned this off thinking the same thing, but it didn't help. I'm waiting to see if it's an issue for a lot of people. Hopefully if so a fix will come soon.

There's a thread on this already. They're definitely a lot more people experiencing this but no one can really reproduce it and it's an annoying and intermittent problem that Samsung needs to fix.

Mine isnt freezing but today it was buzzing, almost sounded like a fly was stuck inside the phone.
