As far as I know the S6 Active has the same camera as the S6 and S6 Edge. From what I understand you should be able to capture photos of moving objects now without getting the image blurred. However, I can't seem to get good quality pictures of moving objects. I tried the "sports" mode but I still get blurry pics. What am I doing wrong? Can someone help me out. Thanks!

Have you tried Fast Motion setting in the camera. This is my 1st Samsung since the Galaxy Nexus.

The camera may be more "capable" to focus on moving objects... this doesn't mean it can do it every time in any given situation.... it will be highly dependant on the situation...

Why don't you try posting an example so we can see the type of environment you're trying to take photos in...

Alright because the commercial shows a person doing tricks on a bike and the photos of him come out perfectly

3 things to try - "fast" mode, "sports" mode, and via the "pro" mode set the iso to it's highest setting of 800. Higher iso means faster shutter speed therefore less motion blur.

I read somewhere an update in the future will allow proper shutter speed control in the default camera app, but until then you could try 3rd party apps. there's a few out there, but buyer beware as they may not work correctly. Setting shutter speed to as high as you can given the amount of light you have available will result in little or no motion blur.

Thanks! The ATT representative told me that I needed to use "sport" mode. However, I am still getting a lot of blur. I was fooled by the advertisement. The commercial made it look like blurred pictures of moving objects was a thing of the past....

You also need to turn Tracking AF on. The ad properly had that on and focused on the biker before taking the pictures. This is sort of a software work-around, so obviously not as good as actually having a huge lens and really quick shutter speed.

Thank you very much for that information. I have always had that setting off. I turned it on and the pictures of moving objects were still pretty blurred. :(

It would be best if you could post some examples which would enable us to help more easily...
