Camera Max Setting

How many you guys use the max setting?. The S22+ it's 50MP or just default?.

In settings, it only says 3:4 is 50mp, but I prefer 9:16 anyway. I'm not sure how many mp that setting is though?

It's less than 12mp, you are only using part of the camera sensor if you don't shoot 3:4 aspect.

Note 20 Ultra user but I've only used the 108mp mode for testing, it's honestly not worth using. It limits the file to jpeg so it's poor for editing, the lens in front of the camera isn't good enough to resolve that much detail either, and without pixel binning anything except bright sunlight the photos actually look worse all while being significantly larger in file size.

The S22 Ultra can output heic format for 108 MP mode. It still takes 4-5 times as much space as the normal mode, though.
