Camera on lock screen issue

About every 3rd or 4th time I pull my phone out of my pocket, the lock screen is displaying a image of the camera icon on a black screen with white arrows pointing downwards. Not sure why but it requires relocking the phone to make it go away then the camera app is open when the phone unlocks. Kind of annoying...

Anyone else experiencing this? Any fix as far as setting go? I never need the camera from lock screen anyway.

If you swipe down twice when the screen is off it launches the camera. If you swipe down once it prompts you to swipe again. What you are seeing is there result of an accidental swipe rather than the lock screen. You can turn the gesture off.

Settings > Display, Gestures & Buttons > Motion Launch gestures: uncheck number 5

This is my 5th HTC phone, and I've always had that issue! Every so often, I'll pull my phone out of my pocket after I know I've locked it, and the camera app will be open. The motion launch gesture #5 has never been checked either.

Hey! Thanks, that makes sense. I didn't see that because its hiding below the first 4 options off the screen. I will see if this works. Glad because this is the one bug I have been seeing.
