Camera orientation

I noticed, obviously, that the camera app opens and functions solely in landscape mode. Is there a way to use it and switch the orientation to portrait mode? Thanks for any help anyone can offer!

If you mean the buttons on the screen switch to portrait, no.

If your talking about pictures, you can just rotate them.
