camera problems

Well. I finally got myself this new smart phone. Thought the razr Max HD would suit my needs. After just a few days,the camera does not work. when I press the camera button it pauses for a long time then tellse cameras failed to initialize or trll me "umfortunately camera feature is not responding". I teapeat this a number of times and camera feature will finally work. This problem is consistent. Whats the fix ? Anyone else have this bug? Another prob is my ringer. When I get a call, a verbal tone (ladies voice) says "Verizon wireless" just before my set ringtone goes audible. What a dissapointment so far.

Try a factory reset...just to be sure it isn't a hiccup. Otherwise, contact Verizon and swap it.

thanks, im still within my 14 day return period, so i am swapping it out. i hope the next one is ok. As far as the "verizonwireless" audible with my ringer, i was told its a tower announcement.. I could not find a setting or tool to remove this feature.. its aparently a verizon thing. The guy at the shop used the their set up system (phone thing)?? and it was removed. What a bunch of b.s. from verizion.. it's their way of advertising their service.... no doubt.. irritating as hell. LOL. If you get a new smart phone with Verizon, make sure to check your call ringer for this annoying "tower announcement" .. ridiculous.....I think Verizon owes me like $50.00 per recieved call for adverting their damn tower, AND....When i picked up this phone in shop, we had sim card issues tied with my sale ...??? or some other bs. Dang set up took over an hour at the shop.. Now , i'll be going back in to do the swp out for non defective phone,, so needless to say, ...I'm Highly dissapointed with customer service in the shop. Otherwise Verizon does have a good signal, too dang expensive though.... Thats my Rant... if some out there is googling for "Droid Razr Maxx Hd " or Verizon Wireless,,,and its reviews, this ones mine. have a great day.
