Camera Question

That's odd, because the display model didn't work like that, for neither front or rear facing

I dunno... you got me... it works like that on my phone and I can't see any options to turn it off.

It may vary by carrier version, but at least for the T-Mo version:

When the phone screen is off: Double tap vol down opens camera and takes an immediate photo.

When the camera app is open: single tap vol down takes a photo with whichever camera is selected on the screen. And the poster before was correct - it is awkward in landscape mode and the back camera in use.

No... If the app is open you should be able to tap it once.

Also you can shut off the option to immediately take a picture with double tap to turn the camera on. I don't like using that option myself, I just use double tap to turn on ( which happens quickly) then I can set up my own shot. I find it a pain in the **** if you allow it to take the picture with double tap to turn on the camera, I end up with pictures of the floor or my shoes or random crap.

I didn't know you could do this! Gonna test it now!

Edit...works on my Verizon g4. Either button works actually. Up or down.

Also if you hold down the volume down key with camera app open it takes multiple shots.
