Camera quick launch option on locked screen - Galaxy Tab A

On the locked screen of my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 there is a quick launch button for the camera.
How do I remove it.
There is no option I can see in the locked screen settings or the camera settings.
Or maybe I am missing something.

Welcome to Android Central! Some devices may allow you to choose which widgets to show on the lockscreen, but if you don't see that option in the System Settings, then you can't modify it. You could try looking for various 3rd party lockscreen apps, to see if you can find one that doesn't have a camera shortcut.

To add to what B. Diddy states, if the user has a password, pin, or other lock on the lockscreen, the option for lock screen widgets will change/disappear from the lockscreen settings. Sometimes the option to change lockscreen widgets only appear with swipe, or none.
