I have my camera settings set to use my SD card and not internal storage for my photos. However, if I go into the My Files application I see that there are some photos on internal storage and some on the SD card. This is a setting I set on my phone the first day I got it, so I'd always have all my pictures no matter what my current phone is - so why is it doing this? I am going to spend a bunch of time moving pictures and wonder why it would work this way. The gallery integrates it nicely, but the phone isn't doing what I've set it to do. Has anyone seen this??
Could this be what happened when 4.4.x rolled out and suddenly Instagram and other apps couldn't write to the SD card? I can't 100% say yet, without examining every photo on the internal storage and remembering the circumstances under which I took it, but it could be.
