Camera scrambling pics

My camera on my Virgin mobile One V (Stock rooted)
started scrambling pictures today, but it only does it when the flash is turned off.
The thumbnails look fine on my PC but when i open the pic it keeps blending it with a picture i took a few days ago.

Hmm, if you hadn't mentioned the flash makes a difference I'd bet on a corrupted SD card. If you're sure it only happens with flash off (and that wasn't just a coincidence), I'd try clearing the camera app's cache and data, force close the camera app, and try again. If that doesn't do it, I'd still try using a different card, or backing up the files on it and reformatting it.

I ended up backing up my phone with titanium and wiping/restoring it. It fixed it but i wish i knew what caused it. Also when the flash was on and it DID take pics they were all colored blue.

Having a sameish issue now with rhythmic ROM it's not scrambling them but all the colors are off

Camera inside any of the jelly bean Rom are not great. Look at play store for different camera
