what are the numbers that come on the screen when using camera.
thought it was date, but not so.

I believe is the total of pictures you can take considering the room you have left in your phone.

Yep, either the number of pictures you can take in a particular setting(8MP, 5MP, 5:3, 4:3, etc) or the amount of video you can take.
