Does anyone know if there is any information out there about using the LG camera to its full potential and not just a basic point and shoot?

The info you are looking for isn't specific to the V30, it applies to photography altogether. Go read up on the basics of using a camera manually (any camera), iso, shutter speed, aperture, etc and it should help immensely. I did this when I got my DSLR and it helped out a lot, the V30 should be no different as far as what you are adjusting
