Camera vs iPhone 6 Plus

The IPhone 6 plus focuses much quicker in any lighting situation. Optical stabilization seems to work better, too. If you intentionally move the IPhone while trying to shoot a picture, somehow it gets a sharp picture even in normal indoor lighting. The N4 didn't then do nearly as well.

Where the N4 out performed the 6 plus was when zooming in. Because of its better resolution (16 vs 8 megapixels), the N4 zoomed picture was noticeably sharper and colors were more saturated.

Thanks to everyone for the HONEST feedback. Looks like if I want the best all around camera I may have to stick with the 6 Plus....and fight all my Android urges. I wish an Android OEM would just make a COMPLETE camera....and that Verizon would support it.

I returned my 64gb iphone plus for the note 4. I must say the iPhone camera is better. The low light pictures are sweet.

I still have both 6+ and Note 4. I agreed, in low light condition the 6+ is a little better. In the good lighting condition N4 is hand down better. Not to say 6+ is not good. 6+ is very good as well.

I like the note 4 camera don't get me wrong. I just think after using the iPhone 6 plus for a month it's better. Is it leaps and bounds better no.

So I can completely understand the desire for a camera that is good in low light, but to me i'd prefer it to be good in daytime as well. Seems to me like both cameras are great, Note 4 is better than the iPhone in daytime, and iPhone is better than the Note 4 in darker conditions. If I preferred one OS over the other, that's the one i'd get. I don't mine coal so I don't need the very best lowlight shooter on the market. I do have kids though, and when I want pics of them indoor at night time, I need one that's capable. To me, the Note 4 is perfect for my scenarios and most of the photos I take are outdoors during the daytime, so I prefer the device that performs best in those settings.

You can't go wrong with either cameras. It's the ecosystem you tied to is the deciding factor. If all your computer env is Apple, iOS probably make more sense, if not android is a good option as well. Both 6+ and note 4 are good.
