Can a galaxy s5 pair with a insignia bluetooth

Got an insignia around the neck head set but my galaxy s5 can never find its signal...can they even pair

Welcome to Android Central! I can't imagine they'd be incompatible, unless perhaps if the headset were really old. Are you certain you're going through the correct pairing process for the headset? Is there some pairing button you have to press and hold?
