Can and will the active listening feature be ported to the S4 from the Moto X?

The Moto X active listening feature - the ability to launch Google Now by saying "okay google now" really appeals to me. Is it possible to bring this over to other android devices, specifically the S4?

We could see that feature coming to a new android software version seeing as Google owns Motorola

I think you can theoretically get the feature, but battery life might suffer tremendously.

I'm pretty sure it's possible with Tasker and Autovoice, but as NothingIsTrue said, it's probably pretty battery intensive.

Doesnt S Voice do this type of thing with the appropriate settings on? I leave it off because of battery drain but I'm pretty sure you can have it set for this.
