As stated in my other videos this thing refuses to find any devices, and my android phone can not see it.

Edit; Ok this is going to be a weird question but do i need the "Android wear" app EVEN on an android device? because wtf..

Ok, starcat. I mean this with the utmost respect and harbor no ill feelings......

DUDE! Hahaha.

Based on your past posts, I can totally tell (probably quite obvious) you just bought the watch without research into what you are getting into. I've done that myself a couple of times but I've found forums like this to help. I just had to say it first because some of your problems (not all of them) is just that you are new to Android Wear. You've gone through a gauntlet of problems. I wished it would have gone smoother. Ok that's it.

To answer your question, Yes you'll need Android Wear app on an Android device too. The good news is.....it's a lot more functional than the Apple app of Android Wear. Yay!

Keep on truckin! Good luck the rest of the way!

Yes, i thought we had evolved to the point where things would be much smoother. i work from home, i use skype, i dont use cell phones or smart objects. i have a tablet and an iphone neither with service because i just dont need it, and on the off chance i do, im usually at a denneys or sherris with wifi, so its never an issue. this is a completely new beast to me..

So basically long story short is i bought a cheap 20 dollar android phone at walmart, which is..surprisingly good for how cheaply made it is. i downloaded a bunch of apps.. trying them out, skype is extremely disapointing, i cant even message anyone on skype let alone call them. what the hell?

Skype app clearly says messaging and communication so i am either missing something or its just lying.

im still trying to figure out how to delete them.
