Can anyone explain this battery usage?

I've attached a screenshot. The only difference between the before and after its the fact that i had plugged in the phone for a few minutes. Notice the battery drain all but stopped afterwards. What's stranger is that up until the last couple of days, what you see towards the end of the graph is what was about normal for the phone all the time, then it started to get really bad really fast.

I'm at a loss to explain what has been draining my battery lately.

Your mobile network?

I can't believe I didn't notice that. I was in a building that had AT&T Wireless throughout the building, but I suppose that didn't count as a mobile network.

I can notice a difference in my battery life when I'm in a area with poor WiFi or a poor mobile network as they keep trying to connect and disconnect.
