I have a line(s) going down the left side of my lg g5 screen. The touch isnt any problem. I can do everything on my phone as if the line(s) arent there at all, however, it blocks my vision of many things on the screen and makes it difficult for me to use it. Thanks for the help!

That looks like a hardware issue to me (either the display panel is damaged or the connector to the display driver is damaged or loose). If you boot your phone into recovery mode and you still see that line, I'm afraid that's pretty much certain that the problem is hardware-related and nothing short of a repair would help.

Take a screenshot. (View it somewhere else)

If the lines don't appear, it's a hardware issue.

The lines do not appear in a screenshot. How would I fix something like this?

I'm afraid it's a hardware issue. Could be several different things - loose or damaged ribbon or connector, broken screen, etc.

Would i take this to Verizon or a phone repair place? Or am I just going to have to live with it?

Depends on where you got it from and if it's still under warranty. But if you're on Verizon, you can ask them and they'll let you know if their shop can handle it or if you'll have to go directly to Samsung. If your phone is not under warranty you could go to a 3rd party repair center that might be cheaper than Samsung's, but that comes with the inherent risk of not being properly done.

I got the same issue on my lg stylo4 4 just started last nite I've factory reset an it still same I contacted lg support no help there so I'm taking it to boost got phone on the upgrade I made 9 payments still got 10 so either they fix It or I just stop service with then an not pay but lg support said I could send my phone to them free of charge an if it's under warranty they'll fix or they'll send new 1 free of charge 2we3k process I gotta get it fixed I need it for work no work no $$$$$$
