I'm having trouble connecting my huawei p30 Pro to my home WiFi network. I live in the UK and have plusnet broadband. I can connect but it asks me to authenticate my details and I get connectivity.check.platform.hicloud.com that always fails to load completely. I don't have any issues connecting with my friends sky router.
I've called plusnet but they don't have any idea how they can help me. EE are not much better. I've done everything I can think of from re factory reset to resetting all network settings but nothing works.
If anyone has a solution it would be great to hear from you. Thanks.

Ask to speak to someone in tech support at plusnet. Tell them what you posted here (it sounds like some sort of default login page, which your own router shouldn't do - that's for places like airports, hotels, etc.). If they can't help you, you might have to buy your own router (cheap - but very good - ones should be going for about £41-£42. Look for Netgear.) Or you could just cancel your account with them and go with sky. (EE is a cellphone provider, they have nothing to do with WiFi.)

Something similar happened to me it'd default to the Telus sign in page (though I use Shaw), turned out it was construction on the street that took out the internet for the entire street.
