Can anyone help me with some Note 3 issues?

Note 3 issues

1. Battery drains in a non use situation.
2. Lagging in using apps or typing
3. Wifi or mobile data stops and cant conplete the download.
4. The pop sound when you use the charger is gone.
5. Gallery pictures are in grey out.
6. Phone heats up while charging.
7. A full charge usually last me a day. Now by half a day its gone.

My Note 3 us almost a year old, 20 Nov 2014.
It has a 4.4.2 upgrade and since last Friday the above has started. Have done a complete reboot but performance is as bad as before the reboot.

Welcome to Android Central! Try booting into Safe Mode, which prevents all 3rd party apps from starting up initially. Then start opening apps one by one to see if any of them start causing unusual behavior. Safe mode: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (N900) | T-Mobile Support

In terms of your battery issues, do the following: Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).

It's always going to drain some, even if the phone is off. (The circuit that watches the power switch takes a tiny bit of current.) When it's on, even with the screen dark and no apps running, it uses battery.

5. Gallery pictures are in grey out.

All of them? Clear the Gallery cache (force stop it first), then restart the phone.

6. Phone heats up while charging.
7. A full charge usually last me a day. Now by half a day its gone.

Together that sounds as if the battery is reaching end of life. If you regularly discharge it all the way before recharging it, you can get as few as 300-350 charging cycles - that's about a year.

I've been running 4.4.2 since Towel Root came out (I held off until I could root the update), and don't have any of the problems you describe (except the pop noise - I've never heard it on 4 different Note 3s).
