Can anyone remember what the wait time between Nexus 10 announcement and availability was?

On the first gen Nexus 10? Or Nexus 7?

You would think with the 2014 Note 10.1 being available October10 that the nexus 10 wouldn't be too far behind.

It will most likely be announced when the New Nexus phone is announced.
Could be anywhere from mid October to mid november

Usually the devices go live that day on the play store. All though they will probably have a melt down again.
also this website is guessing Oct 14th to upstage apple on Oct 15th

Thanks for that. Those 4 days between the release of the 2014 note on Oct 10 and possibly the Nexus 10 on the 14th are gonna be brutal. I'm surprised there's no leaked photos of the Nexus 10 to get folks who might be planning on the 2014 Note 10.1 to hold off and wait to see what the Nexus 10 refresh will bring.

This year has been different for Asus and google. I noticed that neither company is letting anything slip (if possible)
Im guessing they want a bigger surprise to make it more "magical".
I too am eagerly waiting the "show" regarding the Nexus 5 and Kit kat 4.4

The Nexus 10 (along with Nexus 4 and Android 4.2.2) were both supposed to be announced last year by Google on 29-Oct-2012 in a conference in New York City. That event never happened due to Hurricane Sandy, and instead both devices were announced via official blog post right around that same day.

The Nexus 10 was released (in the US and some other countries) on 13-Nov-2012.

So...that was ~2 weeks...just for reference.
