I went to a friends house yesterday with quite a few kids around, so I put a lock on my phone. When we got home, I tried to turn it off, but the top options are grayed out.. Any suggestions?Screenshot_2015-06-29-07-04-47.jpg

I believe if you go into your app list and clear the cache on the settings app that will fix it.

Weird problem. Have you tried a factory data reset?

I tried a factory reset on it once, and it allowed me to use the knock code, but when I changed it to PIN, it grayed the others out. This was maybe 2 hours after the first factory reset, I didnt even have all my apps reinstalled.

Maybe some app is causing interference. Do a factory data reset and don't install any apps and see if the setting is there

You don't need to reset. You just need to go into credentials and uncheck the apps with admin access

Settings - application manager. Go to the all tab and find the settings app

I went to settings, general, apps, but I dont have any way to clear the cache, just reset factory defaults for apps.

I had the same issue and once I unchecked all the apps with admin access I was able to select swipe to unlock...hmm

I don't have that option, and I've already unchecked the only box in there and rebooted.View attachment 184093

Try the steps below.

1. Go to your settings
2. Go to "apps"
3. Scroll to the left till you have it on the" All" section.
4. Find "Settings" (not the Smart Settings)
5. Tap it and hit clear cache. (pics below)

Tried that, no go on that either, still grayed out.

GOT IT!!! Clear credentials was moved apparently to Certificate Management. Once I cleared them, viola, every option is back... Now to figure out what happened to cause it.
Thanks for all the help guys, that's why I love this place!
