As you know samsung says that we can use S6 4 hours with 10 min charging. Is that same for wireless charger?

No its not. The wireless charger will charge a lot slower than the quick charger

To give you an example, my phone usually gets put on the wireless charger when it's about 45 - 50% - it takes about 2 and a half hours to fully charge the phone.

turn the phone off and it will charge faster on the wireless charger. Not as fast as quick charge but it's still pretty quick

But then you can't use it lol. It would make more sense to just plug it up.

It's all a matter of preference and habit but whether it's wired or wirless, the device charges faster when it is off. Wired is faster. I turn my phone off every night to charge. My wife uses her phone as an alarm clock. You can also still alarm clocks. No one is so busy that you can't turn off your phone.

Charged by wifi is very slow. I rather turn off my phone and do cable charge. It is faster this way

The charge rate of the rapid charger is 2ah (2000mah) while the Qi standard limits output to 1ah (1000mah), and that's only if the input rating is high enough.

so what do you think, is it not necessary to buy wireless? When i read your comments, i understood that wireless charger not so useless

1) It's not a necessity to have wireless charging
2) it's cool to have wireless charging :)

I have wireless charging, I like it because it looks cool, simple as that. It saves me about 2 seconds every night from actually plugging in the cable. I have an Otterbox Commuter case on my phone, where the charging port is covered by the case, so wireless charging works best for me.

At night I used the wireless charger because there was no rush to complete the charge. In my car or by my desk I use a quick charger. (or I did before I went swimming with the phone).

So I guess you discovered that the phone wasn't waterproof pretty quickly lol?

I'm a physician, so I have to keep my phone on. Yeah, it'll charge faster when off, but I need my phone to be usable, especially during the day. Now at night, I might could get away with it, but it's gonna be on the charger all night so speed isn't an issue. I think I remember you saying that you turned yours off to charge, I'm glad that works well for you.
