Can GNEX Camera be improved by software update?

The shutter speed is so great but quality is marginal at best. I'm wondering if a software update 4.0.3 or higher could improve it at all.

The sensor couldn't be that bad????

You are talking about shutter lag not shutter speed. I am using CM9 Kang 403 build and the pictures are better than 4.02

Try out a different rom and see if the pictures look better. Also try a reset in the photo settings. That might have fixed my issue to. I did a reset the same time i installed CM9 Kang and something made it look better.
