Can Google keyboard split?

I'm on a nexus 10 on stock android jellybean. Just wondering if there is a way to split the native Google keyboard similar to the iPad or swiftlet keyboard for tablets. Your help is greatly appreciated.

no, the stock android keyboard can't
but other keyboards can
