Whenever I plug my phone into another using the USB C cord it always starts giving power to the phone or device, in this immediate example: my cars aux port. (Using the USB C to aux adapter) the phone says it is giving the car power, and when I use the pull down menu to assess, it gives me the option to 'disable' however when I click that the menu disappears until I pull the status bar down again and the option is there and still enabled. Any help? Is my phone going to be dying faster when using the aux?
Can I block my Essential Phone from supplying power through USB?

The USB-C to 3.5mm adapter has a chipset inside so the phone will always have to supply a minimal amount of power to the adapter. It won't drain your battery unnecessarily. I've put in a couple hours of music and not noticed it drain any more quickly than other SD835 based phones.
