can I change the notification whistle?

Hi all,

Completely new to forum.

Did quite a bit of googling but to no avail. I find the whistle quite annoying but I have configured it thus (notification when email arrives in a particular account).

Anyone know if it's possible to change the whistle to sthg else? How?

Almost certainly is configurable.

Which notification depends on where you change it. Try the app, menu, settings, or from your home screen, menu, system settings, sound, notifications.

Actual route will also depend on your device.

Welcome to Android Central! You can change the default system Notification sound by going to Settings/Sound/Default Notification Sound. You can also change a particular app's notification sound by opening the app, tapping the menu button, and looking for its notification settings.
