Can I connect my MacBook Pro to the Internet via the WIFI capabilities of the LG GPadF 8.0 tablet?

I am going to be in Southwest Georgia for a couple of months and want to establish WIFI connectivity to the Internet utilizing the WIFI capabilities of the LG GPad F 8.0. My wireless provider has a partnership with another wireless provider there, so I can't assess the quality of coverage BUT, last year my cell phone - through the same provider - worked fine, but with roaming charges.
