can i delete apps that came with the phone

i dont use facebook or twitter. can i delete these apps to save space on my phone.

i got an uninstaller app and that wont delete them. when i try to delete them in settings it wont delete.

is there a way to do it?

not without root. i wouldn't worry about it as they shouldn't take up too much space in the grand scheme of things.
