I KNOW I'm not going to use Skype. Would it be ok if I delete it from the phone if I get the Thunderbolt?

I believe most things are possible once the phone has been rooted.

I don't know too much about rooted and probably won't so I take your answer as in NO? Lol

Unless you root, then no. Its an app that is integrated deeply into the ROM, and that is in fact one of the selling features of the phone. (prior to VZW's 4G phones, no handsets have integrated skype this deeply)

Gotcha, just wanted to know for more space. It's not a biggie though.

If you're running a 3rd party launcher like ADW or LauncherPro, you can hide the from your app drawer, however.

I am looking for custom ROM's like CM7 but with the ability to load or have these loaded into the ROM, I don't need Rock Band or the golf game hogging up space.

Ok, I'm hoping we can at least delete the damn golf game and stuff...

Apps that come pre-loaded on the phone (aka bloatware) are usually impossible to delete unless the phone is rooted.

The Tbolt should have ample app storage, though, so this probably won't be much of a problem.

It won't really matter with the TB. It comes with 8GB of built-in storage and a 32 GB card. Storage on that device won't be an issue.

Heck, if it weren't for my music, I could toss in a 2GB card into my Fascinate and still be good to go.

We don't know how much of the internal storage will be used for apps, though. I'm gonna guess 1-2 gigs (for reference, the Dinc has 740 mb or something of phone storage).
