Can I disable Samsung Pay on my Galaxy S7 but keep it working on my Gear S3?

I'd like to get rid of the password requirement on my phone, which is required for Samsung pay. However, I don't want to lose the ability to pay with my watch, so if I have to keep it on my phone in order for the watch to work then I will do so.

The only way to know is by doing so. Disable
Samsung pay on your SGs7-Restart the phone
Goto the corner store-Heh! buy a lotto ticket
and pay with your S3-Gear..Did it works?
