Can I disable startup sounds on my phone?

I want to stop the t mobile sound every time I turn on my S20ultra?

I don’t think that that can be done, but I’ll move this to S20 Ultra, where others may know better.

Some of the startup sounds are quite obnoxious, especially since they come at full volume! But, alas! 'Tis an option they should add to phones these days.

Welcome to Android Central! As BergerKing above me wrote, some of these startup sounds are enough to put you off your lunch. It would be nice if you could have the option to disable or toggle them on or off, without having to root the device. Someday, hopefully!

As long as people continue to buy the carrier branded phones it's never going to change. Most people don't care about the boot logo/sounds, carrier junk etc or they even realize how all these works to change.

So no this is never going to change on carrier branded phones

But atleast we have option to buy the US unlocked models which don't have any of this crap for those who care.

Some buy from carriers because of promotions such as BOGO or to take advantage of 24 months with zero interest. Unfortunately not everyone can purchase paying upfront so they have to live with the bloatware

I try not to buy from my carrier unless I absolutely have to! I had to this time around but I plan to get out of that as quickly as possible! Paying off my phone = total freedom for the chains of carriers!

I have an unlocked 20+ and it makes a loud "clicking noise" when it starts up. I just put the phone in vibrate mode and that's all it did when I start it up. When I put it in silent mode it didn't do anything but silently startup. So, if you're turning your phone off, put it in silent mode before you do. I'm sure it's the same with a branded phone.
