Can I enable call record on my LG G Stylo...or are there compatible apps?

Hi. I understand LG has disabled the call record function on my phone model. I've tried various call recorder apps on Google Play, and none work. I need to be able to record my calls for work. (I'm a reporter, and need to verify quotes.) Can you suggest anything that I can do?

I do have an external call recorder, but I have no idea how to connect it to the phone, or if the model even allows for that. Right now, I have to place the external call recorder near the microphone of the phone and put it on speaker, and it's a real hassle. hehe

I'd appreciate any insight you might have.

I'm trying this again. Does anyone know of a call record app that will work with LG G Stylo? I'd really appreciate your help. Or is it possible to connect an external recorder to the phone to record calls?
