Can I fix this issue of verticle white lines on my Galaxy S3?

I have a Galaxy S3 and a white vertical line appeared on my screen.

The issue is that it comes and goes. Can I repair this without replacing the LCD?

I read somewhere that this can be cause by loose pins. Could this be the problem. And if so, how do I fix it?

I have experience fixing cell phone digitizers and working with solder
