Rooting help - HTC One M8 (AT&T)

Hi there,

So recently I have successfully rooted my HTC One M8. However, I only could seem to get Android Revolution working properly on my device. All other ROMS like Cyan, Liquid Smooth didn't read my sim card for whatever reason. So far, Android Revolution is the only one working for me at the moment. I have cell service, I can text, call, and use WiFi just fine. However I'm just not really found of the software. I really just want to get back to a FRESH new start, un-rooted, everything like it was just out of the box. HOWEVER, I never did manage to make a backup in TWP or whatever it's called. So I'm really panicking here... I just want to get my phone back but I am just lost. I can't figure it out.

Look on the HTC site or at AT&T HTC One (M8) - XDA Forums for the stock ROM. Install it. (If it wipes TWRP, install TWRP again. Make a backup.

Then, any time you're going to make a major change, make a backup. If the change screws something up, you can restore.

If you install new apps or have new data regularly, make a fresh backup once a month or so.

The only way to go back to stock is if you flash an RUU. Keep trying different ROMs! What Android versions were the ROMs you were trying? Also, do you have S-OFF?
