Can I get some help rooting my ZTE Speed N9130 phone?

Cannot find a way to root ZTE Speed N9130 phone

Have tried a few of the computer>USB debugging solutions that root many of the common phones, but all attempts at rooting have failed for me.

Boost mobile phone. I bought it because I had thought it was an unlocked phone that USED to be boostmobile, but ebay description was sort of vague. My problem since I did not message ebay seller in time.


Use for phone? gauges for my torque pro app. games. GPS. Music.

This will NOT be used as a day to day regular phone.

Root Genius fails

Android Root fails

Kingoroot fails.

Framaroot fails.

Constantly plagued by the activation service. I have even emailed a boost mobile rep to get their side/advice and havent received a response. (2 days so far, but it is holiday weekend.)

I found this and the author mentioned it was a repost from XDA-Developers so you can check that out but these directions should help you. Also I wuld suggest checking YouTube for more any videos's on how to root, it can be helpful.

How To Root ZTE Speed [Tutorial]
I rewrite this tutorial from forum.xda-developers.com :
1. Download Super-Root.apk for ZTE Speed from this link : Download or Download File :: downloadsafe.org
Tutorial Video : Easy Way To Download Super-Root.apk = Easy Way to Download at downloadsafe.org/sharecash.org - YouTube
2. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.
3. Copy the Super-Root.apk over to the root of your SD card.
4. Once it’s been copied, disconnect your device from your PC.
5. Head to Menu>>Settings>>Security on your device and enable the Unknown sources option.
6. Open the File Manager app on your device and install the app you copied earlier to your device.
7. Once the app’s been installed, launch it from your App Drawer.
8. Select Install SuperSU from the first dropdown menu.
9. Select exploit, tap on it in the app.
10. The app should begin rooting your device, shouldn’t take too long to finish.
11. Reboot your device once it’s been rooted.
12. You’re all done! Excellent! You’ve successfully rooted your Android device using the Super-Root.apk app and you should now be able to see the SuperSU app in your App Drawer!
