Can I get some help unlocking my phone?

hi there im about to go to overseas and i have Samsung note 5 and i ask t-mobile to unlock my phone and they side no u can't do that and i went to one of the phone repair shops to unlock it for me but he could not do that because of app call device unlock and when i try to delete it or try to make force to stop the phone give me warning if i do that will effect my phone i need help please

Welcome to Android Central! Is the device eligible for T-Mobile to unlock, according to their policy here? Unlocked Sim Card Policy & Requirements | T-Mobile

It's worth remembering that if you have a Simple Choice plan from T-Mobile, you get free international text messaging and free (albeit slow 2G) mobile data. Calls aren't too bad--$0.20/minute. So unless you plan to make lots of calls, you might not even need to unlock it.
