Can I get some help with a hard reset?

Hard reset

Was having issues with KitKat on Galaxy Tab 3- 10.1", I read some online instructions on how to do a reset by holding the power/vol up/home button. I followed directions to delete and reset, but now the display is ver faded, and I can't change it in Settings. I'm an Android newbie, and I'm totally lost.

Can I fix it??

Welcome to Android Central! What kinds of issues were you having before the hard reset? Perhaps the device hardware is starting to fail, and this is another symptom.

Are you able to see the screen at all? When you say you can't change the brightness in the Settings, do you mean that the Brightness slider moves and nothing happens, or the slider doesn't even respond to your touch?

Can you try another factory data reset?
