Moto 360 messaging issue

Hello, everyone! I just purchased a Moto 360 yesterday and I only have one problem that I can't seem to fix. I have my Moto 360 paired with an HTC One M8 and am using the Google messenger app. Every time I send a text message with the "OK Google" function on my Moto 360, the message sends, but the message does not display on the messenger app on my phone. However, when I'm replying to a text through the Moto 360, the message shows up on my phone's messenger app. I was wondering how to resolve this issue? Thanks everyone in advance!

Are you on the correct thread? Sounds like you have a 2014 Moto 360. If this is the case, you'll probably be able to get some help on the proper thread. This thread is for the 2015 model, which is probably why you haven't received any answers. The 2015 model hasn't even shipped yet.
