Can I get some help with a sound problem on my OTT tv box?

Sound problem OTT tv box

I have an OTT Android tv box running 4.4 The box is a Quad-Core Cortex-A9r4, 2.0GHz,connected to tv via HDMI cable.I have no sound output. Has anyone got any suggestions

Welcome to Android Central! Check your TV's settings--sometimes, there's a setting that allows you to turn off HDMI sound, which might be desirable if the TV is hooked up to an entertainment system (so that you're not getting sound through both the system and the TV).
