startup problem for my Nexus 5

i am not able to start my nexus 5. everytime i try to start it it just shows google and then again shutdown. what do i do now?

Try a factory reset from Recovery. You'll lose any/all data on the device; however, since you are not able to boot, that's probably the least of the issue right now.

Let us know if that helps and you are able to boot.
