Vpn question

Hello, guys. I'm having some problem with my configuration, I have a Sony Xperia E1 and I'm having problems with VPN connection. Every time i try to install or to enter the VPN configuration, i got a message saying "The configuration has stopped". Now I don't know what to do. Somebody know how to fix it?

Are we talking about a VPN server at work that you have to connect to in order to use your phone with the office network or a "hide my IP address" type of "vpn" on the internet? They're two totally different things with the same name.

In the first case it could be either the app having a problem or the server that's causing the app to close, but you'd have to work either one out with your IT people. (Some VPN servers just don't yet have working Android apps for Lollipop [or even KitKAt].) In the second case, it's "the Wild West", so it could be almost anything, but the first thing to try would be a different "vpn".
