Can I get some help with an unidentified icon on the status bar?

Unidentified Icon in the Status bar

There is a weird S like (kinda like 2 cycles converging) symbol at the top of my Galaxy S6 and I can't figure out what it is.

- Usually if its in the notification bar, it should tell you what it is in your notifications when your slide your finger down, does it say anything in your notification dropdown?
- If not, go to Settings -> Applications -> Application Manager -> Running, and see if you can see app is running that may seem like its associated with that icon...maybe an app that starts with an "S"

Also check your Icon Glossary. I don't see that in mine but it might be carrier specific (I'm on Verizon). Go to Settings -> System | Help (near the bottom) -> Icon Glossary

Do you mean the two horizontal arrows? That means that VoLTE (Voice over LTE) is activated.

Bump. I have this same icon on my Galaxy S7 after trying to recover photos I accidentally deleted using the dr. fone app. I noticed this icon after turning on developer options, and I also noticed an unlocked padlock icon that says Custom whenever I turn my phone on after turning it off. Does anyone know how to get rid of these two icons?

I'm curious if the icon is related to Samsung sync?
