need advice with my battery life

I'm pretty clueless on what is good battery life and not good. I just switched from an iPhone 6s plus to the Note 5 and my battery seems to go down about 1% every 3 mins while in use. Is that the average for this phone? My WiFi signal isn't the greatest either and I read that can drain a battery as well.

Welcome to Android Central! When you say that it's while in use, do you mean the screen is on, and you're using apps or making calls? 1% every 3 minutes means the battery will be drained after 300 minutes, or 5 hours. 5 hours of total screen-on time is fairly standard. It can vary depending on what apps you use, and other settings you may have turned on. For example, if you leave GPS on all the time, that can contribute to battery drain.
