Can I get some help with some HTC One E8 problems?

HTC One E8 problems

Hey guys, I don't really know what's going on, but since today I've been experiencing three different issues with my phone!

1. The phone goes on speaker automatically when I make a call
2. The screen rotates... everywhere! even on the main menu! it didn't do that before :S
3. Unable to turn on Wifi Sharing, the option just disappeared!

Now, my phone has not been updated :S Anyone else have or know a fix for this?

Welcome to Android Central! Is it running the stock HTC Sense launcher, or did you install an alternate launcher like Nova?

Since you PM'd me about launchers--a launcher is the homescreen interface on the phone. How the icons on the homescreen are arranged, the transition animations--that's what the launcher does. HTC's launcher that comes with the phone is called HTC Sense (or Blinkfeed). You can install alternate launchers to change the look of the phone, like Nova Launcher.

The reason I asked about launchers is that most launchers that come preinstalled on the phone don't allow you to rotate the homescreen. But Nova does.

Well, I haven't installed anything nor have I had any updates, so I'm guessing I have the stock HTC Sense Launcher.

Try booting into Recovery and wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data. I'm not sure if the steps for the M8 will work for the E8, but give it a try: http://forums.androidcentral.com/ht...ow-reboot-into-stock-recovery-htc-one-m8.html
