Can I get some help with some mail issues with my S6 Edge?

Mail issues with S6 edge

I have the S6 edge. the standard email app is extremely slow to.download messages. I have much better luck with ATT mail but don't know of other can integrated that with People Edge. how can I solve one or the other issue?
