Can i install the firmware of a specific tv box on another model or another vendor

i want to install the firmware of the H96 max on the XC 66 . Is that doable???

Welcome to Android Central! I would say that it's not possible. Firmware is designed pretty specifically for certain hardware, and unless the other box is an almost identical clone hardware-wise, it wouldn't work.
