Can I make my lockscreen look same as my homescreen?

Newbie here, so please be gentle. I recently purchased my first ever smartphone with the HTC One, so I am new to smartphones and Android. Over the last 3 week I have been able to figure out how to use Nova Launcher and ZooperWidget to design a very minimal home screen. No icons, just month day year day of week clock and weather. I do have icons on the home screen dock. I would like to have the date setup on my WidgetLocker screen be the same as my home screen, but for the life of me can't figure out how. I'm sure this is a simple thing, but it is just eluding me at the moment. Can anyone please help?

You should be able to open widget locker in your app drawer and then long press and select add widget and then just add the widget you want. Is there your having problems?

I think the problem is that I tweaked preloaded homescreen from zooper widget and it doesn't show up in my widgetts drawer. The only place I can find the configuration is saved in zooper widget. I suspect I'm in over my head here. Lol

Shown me a screen shot of your home screen and maybe someone can help you make it or find something similar.

I've managed to mess my home screen up in the process too, so I guess I will just start over. It'll be good practice. Thanks for trying to help. Here's a reasonable approximation of what the homescreen looks like if any one was curious. I think I am going to start over again.
