Can I manually upgrade my Samsung Galaxy tab 3 (P5210) to Lollipop 5.1.1 or higher?

I have had a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 for a couple years now only to find that it is being left behind.

So, I was wondering if there was any way I could upgrade it while still keeping all my apps and features such as IR, Light sensor, etc.

You will be looking at a custom ROM to upgrade, first assuming you have checked via the device itself for updates?

Hi,

I have checked the device for updates for the last few years. But it has stopped at 1.4.4.
Also, are there any ROM's you would recommend and how would I install one?
