My old two phones I am using (One for talk and text, the other for social media, apps, etc.) are about to bite the dust. So I'm looking for one nice convenient phone on one plan.

My idea was to order this CDMA unlocked Galaxy S7 from Amazon and use it on Boost mobile:

I'm not sure if it will work with Boost's network though, so I'm hoping someone could shed some light on if this is a good idea or not. I am open for other ideas you guys might have, like other phones or providers. Thanks!

Check on this page - https://activate.boostmobile.com/bring-your-phone?INTNAV=TopNav:BYOP

Or check with Boost. Apparently, if it's a CDMA phone, they should accept it. (BTW, CDMA phones aren't "locked" in the usual sense - they're locked by not being in the database of a CDMA carrier's system.) A phone that was on Sprint previously may not be accepted. Or one on which money is owed. (But I'd look for a Sprint phone - that's the network you'll be on with Boost.)
